Food Establishment Inspection Scores
The McLean County Health Department provides protection against foodborne illness by assuring that foods provided by food service establishments, retail food stores, and temporary food service events in McLean County are from an approved, safe source, and protected against contamination or adulteration.

The scores assigned during food inspections are used to measure a food service establishment's compliance with sanitation codes; however it is important to remember that each inspection is a "snapshot" of conditions present only at the time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment may have fewer or more violations than noted in their most recent inspection.

Please remember:
To get the most accurate overview of a food establishment's commitment to food safety and sanitation, you are encouraged to look at the inspection history of an establishment, not just a single inspection occurrence.

Typographical and grammatical errors may be noticed in the inspections due to the computer software defaulting to a more recognizable word or sentence structure, or the sanitarian's incidental contact with the touch screen resulted in a minor change within the document.
