McLean County Nursing Home has a van for transporting residents to doctor appointments and personal outings. This service is available to all residents for a nominal fee, on a first come, first serve basis.
The facility van can be used upon request. The following are the rates for these services:
- $10.00 for round trip service to doctor's appointments or personal outings within Bloomington/Normal.
- $25.00 for round trip service within a 60 mile radius of Bloomington/Normal (Peoria, Champaign, etc.)
- $15.00 additional fee if the family requests, or resident requires a staff escort to a doctor's appointment.
- Personal outings with a staff escort for a resident will be determined on an individual basis with consideration given to distance, time requirements, and availability, etc.
