 Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) Facility 

The Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) at The Center for Human Services is available free of charge to individuals 18 and older experiencing a behavioral health crisis. BHUC provides an alternative to emergency departments when appropriate. Our services include crisis screening, crisis intervention, short term counseling, linkage to resources, and peer support.

We are located at 520 North Center St, Bloomington, IL 61704, in our “tower building” just a 1/2 block North of our main location on Market St.

Our current hours of operation are 5pm to 1am Monday through Friday and 1pm to 9pm Sunday.

  2. All programs will seek to reduce individuals' entry into the justice system when reatment is the needed and better alternative.
  3. All programs will track data and measure outcomes specific to the program.
  4. All programs will provide quality clinical care to the individuals it serves.
