The Triage Center currently remains open to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic.  However, the following precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of staff and the general public, in addition to routine and increased cleaning schedules:
  • No staff who are ill or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will be working on-site.
  • All individuals presenting to the Triage Center for assistance with their behavioral health crisis will be screened for cough, sore throat, fever, contact with other symptomatic individuals, and/or travel exposure.  If an individual is symptomatic, they will be not be able to be seen in the Center.
  • Staff will ensure that no more than 10 individuals will be present in the Triage Center at any time.  If the Center is at capacity, individuals will be referred elsewhere.
  • Staff will work with individuals to maintain the recommended 6' distancing.
  • Any new recommendations from the CDC, IDPH or local public health officials will result in modifications of the above practices.
