The Triage Center currently remains open to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the following precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of staff and the general public, in addition to routine and increased cleaning schedules:
No staff who are ill or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will be working on-site.
All individuals presenting to the Triage Center for assistance with their behavioral health crisis will be screened for cough, sore throat, fever, contact with other symptomatic individuals, and/or travel exposure. If an individual is symptomatic, they will be not be able to be seen in the Center.
Staff will ensure that no more than 10 individuals will be present in the Triage Center at any time. If the Center is at capacity, individuals will be referred elsewhere.
Staff will work with individuals to maintain the recommended 6' distancing.
Any new recommendations from the CDC, IDPH or local public health officials will result in modifications of the above practices.
