COVID-19 Information

Visiting Loved Ones in a Nursing Home

The health and safety of our residents and staff is our utmost priority. Throughout this pandemic, our facility has followed a specific protocol to control the spread of the coronavirus. Our COVID-19 protocol complies with state and federal guidelines. Our infection control measures are updated regularly and monitored within the facility.

Visitation

We’re happy to announce we welcome visitors in the facility for residents. All visitors will need to complete a screening upon entering and document their temperature on our questionnaire. While in the facility visitors are required to adhere to core principles of infection prevention and control. Infection control includes hand hygiene, well-fitting mask, and appropriate social distancing. We encourage limiting the physical contact such has kissing, hand holding, and sharing eating utensils.

We ask that if any symptoms develop or you test positive for an infectious disease i.e., Covid-19, Influenza A or B within 72 hours of visitation that you notify the facility for a quick response in enhancing infection control measures.

Screenings

Screenings are no longer required 24 hours prior to visitation. If you are feeling under the weather, we recommend postponing your visit. If you are unsure of symptoms or if you should visit, please call, and speak with a member of the nurse management team for further guidance.

Residents Screenings

Resident testing is done if symptoms of Covid-19 develop. Symptom monitoring is conducted every shift, with vitals including temperature once daily.

New admissions are tested on the day of admission and 3-5 days following admission.

Staff Screenings

Employees are required to complete a Covid-19 screening upon entry to the facility including temperature.

Staff are testing based on symptoms of Covid-19.

Positive Results

Visitors and staff are required to refrain from coming to the facility for 10 days following a positive Covid-19 test

Cleaning and Disinfecting

Our facility takes additional steps to disinfect and clean our facility. These steps go above and beyond what is required of us. It reflects our unwavering commitment to residents and personnel.

What You Can Do at Home

Everyone in the community also plays a very important role in protecting our residents. Schedule a vaccination appointment as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is available for you. Continue to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and wash your hands frequently.
