The bridge over Bloomington Lake on County Highway 31, also known as Carver Corner, was replaced during the summer of 2012. This project also included the intersection on the west end of the bridge to be widened and resurfaced.

The existing bridge was built in 1958 and had 28 feet of roadway width. The new bridge, named Hickory Creek II Bridge, has 40 feet of roadway width.
The roadway slopes and bridge area are protected from erosion by the use of stones.
