A big thank you from the McLean County Department of Parks & Recreation goes out to Boy Scout Lucas Schempp of Boy Scout Troop 12 in Bloomington! Lucas completed the design, coordination and the construction of two access bridges at Mallard Slough Trail South. This project led to Lucas being awarded his rank of Eagle Scout! Not only does this make it easier to access this trail, but these two access bridges will assist the Park's Department eventually being able to connect Mallard Slough's north and south trails.
