[ARCHIVED] Evergreen Lake Fishing Report - October 19, 2011

Water Clarity: 2-4 ft.
Water Level: 4 ft. below capacity
Water Temps: Low 60's

Fishing has turned on in the past couple of weeks. Most people are catching limits or near limits of Crappie. A lot of the fish are coming around structure in 15-20 ft. of water. Shore fishing has been good at the pump house, spillway, and near the swimming beach. Fish are being caught with minnows and some are being caught on light colored tube jigs. Reports of nice sized fish have been regular, with many of them between 10 and 13". The Saugeye are starting to show up, but most are smaller. Saugeye have been reported along drop offs and near weed beds on crawler tipped jigs. I have heard of several nice sized Muskie being caught near weed beds where they are feasting on large numbers of Shad.
Good Luck, Brad
