The Main Recreation Area(East) Boat Launch WILL BE CLOSED from 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 until Noon on Saturday, July 14, 2012 for the EVERGREEN LAKE TRIATHLON. Fishermen/Boaters are asked to use the White Oak (West) Boat Launch via the Hudson Exit (Exit 5) off I-39 during these closure times. The Campground facility will remain open. Also, a portion of Evergreen Lake will be closed to ALL watercraft traffic. The area from the Boat Rental south across the lake and east will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012. This includes the area around Deer Island, Six-Mile Creek Bay, and around the Boat Rental facility. DUE TO LOW WATER LEVELS THIS AREA HAS BEEN EXPANDED TO THE WEST TO ALMOST MALLARD COVE.
